Yay! We get to finish Fellowship of the Ring tonight!
Did you miss last week’s drinkalong? NO PROBLEM! I’ve conveniently storified it for everyone RIGHT HERE. Well, most of it. Look, storify was being weird last week and hiding tweets, so that’s not really the entire thing, but it’s MOST of it. Calm down. It’s still a good read. Lots of fun was had and there were many lulz. You want to get in on the lulz, don’t you?

Take a look at this countdown clock. I’m not even bothering posting the time differential like I did before because you should all know what time we’re starting by now, right? Right.
Anyway, last week we left off shortly after Gandalf vs. Balrog as the rest of the fellowship was running to Lothlórien. We’ll pick up here, and watch around 1:15 together.
I was thinking that for the rest of the drinkalongs we can watch a disc a week. Is everyone cool with that? I don’t know about the rest of you, but with the revised rules, I was still pretty sober when we hit stop. This is unacceptable, guys. UNACCEPTABLE.
Also, if we do it at the new pace, I won’t have to spend 12 weeks watching the movies. I <3 you people, but that’s just torture. I’m not into that.
Let’s all try using the #PtBiB tweet chat again, like we did last week – just be careful. Apparently since it’s a 3rd party app, wonkiness ensues if you tweet too frequently/RT too much. Both Kate and I ended up in twitter jail last week and it was NO FUN.
